This page covers this website, notenail.app, and the early access form on it. The Sing! app runs on a different address and has its own rules; they are described inside the app.

What we collect

Only what you type into the early access form, plus what the request itself carries:

• Your email address. Required — without it there is nothing to send an access code to.
• Your answer to the song question. Optional, free text, up to 200 characters.
• The language and the page you sent the form from, and the time you sent it.
• Campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and the referring address, if the link you arrived by carried them. This is how we tell one source of requests from another.
• A one-way hash of your IP address. The address itself is not stored. The hash exists only to limit how many requests can arrive from one place in an hour.

What we do not collect

• No voice, no recordings, no microphone. This website never asks for your microphone and has no way to record anything.
• No cookies and no consent banner. Page views are counted by Vercel Analytics, which works without cookies and does not build a profile of you.
• No advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no social network scripts.
• No account. There is nothing to log in to.

What we do with it

We send you an invitation code when a place in the closed beta opens up, and we write to you about the release. Nothing else. We do not sell the list, do not rent it, and do not pass it to anyone for their own use.

The answers to the song question are read as a group: they tell us which songs people actually want to sing, and that shapes what we build next.

Where it is stored

In a Postgres database hosted by Neon, and the website itself runs on Vercel. Both are processors acting on our instructions.

How to be removed

Reply to any email we send you, or write to hello@notenail.app, and we delete your row. No form to fill in and no reason required. You can also ask what we hold about you, and we will send it back.
